NISFU SHA'BAN : The Night of Aboundant Blessings

Muslim brothers and sisters, this is another great opportunity for us to seek for the blessings of Almighty Allah.
         Prophet Muhammad was once ask about the great night to observe after the Night of Majesty (لياة القدر) , He said: Nisfu Sha'ban. He (PBUH) further explained that Allah (SWT) created 100 blessings, He sent one, just only one, to the world ans hold the rest (99). In the night of Nisfu Shaban, He (SWT) will send 33 of them (for those who keep the night).
        The prophet (SAW) do wake on that night to observe nawafil (voluntary prayer) and enjoy us, we, His followers to do so.
        There are disparity among the scholars pertaining to how Rakaat of salat do we observe. Some do observe two with suratu ikhlas five hundred n each rakaat, some observe four, some observe ten.The most important thing is to stick to one of them. As pertaining to number of rakat, there is no limitation to how many to observe, the most important thing is to observe nawafil on this great night.
         According to calendar, the night is slated to be observed on 23rd June, 2013, while some will observe theirs on 22nd June 2013, either of the two, may Allah accept it as an act of Ibadah. Amin
