Benefits
1. Spiritual Empowerment and Strength
The prayer explicitly asks for "strength in obedience" (tuqawwiyani ‘ala ta’atika).
Benefit: It is intended to help the practitioner overcome laziness, bad habits, or spiritual weakness, replacing them with the willpower to do good.
2. Dignity and Respect (Al-Hay’ah wal-Waqar)
A central theme of the prayer is the request for "Al-Hay’ah" (Aura/Presence) and "Al-Waqar" (Dignity/Solemnity).
Benefit: This is often recited by those who feel overlooked or disrespected. It is believed to grant the reciter a natural sense of gravity and authority that causes others to treat them with respect and honor.
3. Protection and Victory
By invoking "The Victorious" (Al-Ghalib), the prayer seeks a shield against those who wish you harm.
Benefit: It is used as a spiritual "fortress" against enemies or those who try to dominate you unfairly, seeking to place the reciter under the protection of Divine Might.
4. Spiritual Illumination (Al-Bayariq al-Nuraniyyah)
The mention of "Light-bearing banners" and "reviving the heart and soul" refers to internal enlightenment.
Benefit: It aims to clear "rust" from the heart, leading to better intuition, clarity of mind, and a deeper sense of peace and connection to the Divine.
5. Social and Material Needs (Qada’ al-Hawa’ij)
The prayer asks for needs to be satisfied (yurdi hawa’iji).
Benefit: It is used as a means of "Tawassul" (intercession) to make daily tasks easier and to find success in worldly matters, such as work or legal issues.
